Mittens Mittens Mittens

As its getting so damn cold, I've been on the look out for some mittens, thats in case you couldn't guess from the title, but i was looking at these

Left to right: 1. Urban Outfitters 2. Topshop 3. Modcloth 4. Rokit vintage

I have to admit i haven't owned a pair of mittens since i was about 4 but they just look so snug and warm. These are all about £10 plus and i just couldn't justify spending that on something my nan would probably be able to knit me, BUT I'm just too impatient for that.
Luckily i did manage to find a very cute pair from a YMCA charity shop, I'm pretty sure they have never been worn and even better they were 99p

.....follow the white rabbit

I took this picture on my way home from having coffee with one of my oldest friends, it was such a lovely day, cold and perfectly clear. I think this is possibly the best cloud shape i have ever managed to capture... come on we all play that game from time to time! anyway if you want to take cloud spotting to the extreme visit The cloud Appreciation society, no im not joking it does really exist, but come on they are pretty amazing.

Boho for cold days

I'm really not feeling the weather today, its my day off and it wont stop raining! anywhoooo, i decided i wanted to bring this charity shop skirt up to date and also make it possible for me to wear it in the winter.

Basically this consisted of me chopping off quite a lot of length and turning it into a high waisted skater skirt. i love the print but there's just sooooooooooo much material in it, it tends to make me look a little chunkier than i'd like but i love it anway.

I went out walking

I was pretty damn bored on Sunday so i decided to go for one of those walks which is meant to clear out your lungs and make you feel alive but i just ended up cold and tired haha. but i did manage to get some pretty nice shots before i passed out...

i really wanna work on my photography, especially doing something other than landscapes, I'm very tempted to join an evening class or something but its just finding the time!! would be worth it though....thats it, I'm off to phone the local college.

Me Without You

The other night i was lying in bed unable to sleep so i switched on the TV only to find they were showing Me without you and it reminded me how much i love this film.
Directed by Sandra Goldbacher,It stars a very young looking Michelle Williams as Holly and Anna Friel as Marina and follows their lives as they grow up on the outskirts of London and eventually Brighton in the 70's and 80's.
It has an amazing soundtrack which includes The Clash, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Stranglers, Adam and the ants and many more artists from back in the day.
The Fashion is also pretty spot on and is definitely a vital part of giving the film its very realistic and British feel. Anna Friel also gets some fairly interesting hair styles through the years including a very cool 20's style bob which is very tricky to pull off but she somehow manages it extremely well.
Michelle Williams is by far my favorite though, i do love her anyway but she really suits the style of this film.

I really insist you go watch it!! its really heartwarming and completely unpredictable.

What every girl should own...

I'm far too excited about this, but i can't wait until the end of the month (pay day) to get my hands on this Chanel coco mademoiselle twist and spray fragrance. I really think every girl should own some Chanel at some point in their lives and i think I've found what will be my signature fragrance for many years to come!
Also this set is pretty damn cute and perfect for carrying anywhere, at £63 i know its gonna be worth it.
